The Department of Energy and The Savannah River National Laboratory are hosting a technical exchange in Atlanta, GA.

Over the past five years, personnel from the three named sites along with others receiving funding from the Office of Environmental Management have met to exchange recent results of on-going field operations and technology development. The purpose of this exchange is to provide a forum for discussion of each Site's efforts to accelerate cleanup operations. Keys to success and lessons learned are openly exchanged in a manner to allow for open discussion between operations, engineering and scientists to accelerate transition of technologies from concepts to field implementation.

Technical issues will include:

• Waste Retrieval
• Technology Development
• Retrieval Tools
• Facility Readiness
• Waste/Heel Volume Measurements
• Characterization and Corrosion

Fees

The technical exchange is sponsored by EM 21. No registration fee is required.
