Data Elements: A 1000Z report from http://www.npmoc.navy.mil says that Tropical Storm Jimena is located southwest of Hilo, Hawaii and has tracked westward at 16 knots. Winds are sustained at 40 knots, with gusts up to 50 knots.
Observation Device: GOES-10 4 km infrared imagery.
