TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
SUBJECT: Entities That May Be Conducting Banking Operations Without Authorization

The Central Bank of Belize has issued the attached warning circular about entities that are not licensed or chartered banks or financial institutions in Belize. This circular supersedes the warning circular provided in FIL-72-95, dated October 23, 1995. Any proposed transactions involving these entities should be viewed with extreme caution. Please provide any information about these entities to Ms.Yvette Alvarez, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Belize, P.O. Box 852, Belize City, Belize. This information, as well as information on any other unauthorized entities, should also be forwarded to the FDIC's Special Activities Section, 550 17th Street, NW, Room F-6012, Washington, DC 20429.
