- The sperm cell has an isoXq chromosome
- 46,X,iXq fertilized egg: this has one normal X from the mother and an iXq chromosome from the father.
- Upon cell division to form the embryo, the iXq chromosome may be lost from one of the daughter cells.
- The resulting girl is mosaic for 45,X and 46,XiXq cell lines. Since no cells have a normal complement of X chromosomes, she is likely to have a full blown Turner phenotype.
