McCotter Announces New Passport Application Site in Walled Lake

Washington  - Representative Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-Livonia) announced today the United states Department of State has selected the City of Walled Lake as a new passport acceptance facility.  Citizens can now apply for a U.S. passport at 1499 E. West Maple Road in Walled Lake.

“This new acceptance point will facilitate the process for Walled Lake residents when they apply for a passport,” said McCotter.

The Department opened this new acceptance facility as part of its commitment to expanding the pool of acceptance facilities.  The facilities play a vital role in verifying applications are properly completed before forwarding them to a Regional Passport Agency for issuance.
