Washington - Representative Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-Livonia) announced today the United states Department of State has selected the City of Walled Lake as a new passport acceptance facility. Citizens can now apply for a U.S. passport at 1499 E. West Maple Road in Walled Lake.
“This new acceptance point will facilitate the process for Walled Lake residents when they apply for a passport,” said McCotter.
The Department opened this new acceptance facility as part of its commitment to expanding the pool of acceptance facilities. The facilities play a vital role in verifying applications are properly completed before forwarding them to a Regional Passport Agency for issuance.
