Supports the worldwide, holistic relief and development activities of its international affiliate, Emmanuel International Relief and Development, by providing specialized staff and other resources to address health, literacy, agriculture, water and sanitation, and short-term disaster needs. EIM works at the invitation of local nongovernmental organization partners and focuses on empowering local communities to reach self-sufficiency. Projects are underway in Brazil, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique, Malawi, the Philippines, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
