VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for five 7' x 16' tandem cargo trailers equipped with: commercial quality w/patented dust proof sidewall design, chip resistant undercoating, Dexter Independent Torsion Suspension (ITS) axles, E-Z Lube Hubs, trailer rated radial tires, modular-styled wheels w/E-Coat prime & powder coat finish, all wheel electric brakes w/12v breakaway switch, battery & trickle charger included, welded in place safety chains w/security clasp hooks, silver TPO front cap, aerodynamic front-end design, frames are phosphate power washed and all exposed metal is painted w/premium quality paint, long life coating on zinc plated fasteners, semi-trailer quality 12v LED lighting, precision jig built solid core double rear swing door with semi-style camlocks, t-nuts & aluminum strap hinges, automotive style D-bulb weather stripping, formed steel rear header w/clearance lights and inside cover, 030 exterior aluminum with 16" on-center wall posts, aluminum fenders, .080 hard aluminum top wrap with drip edge, aluminum roof w/riveted seams for superior strength & sealing, high-tech roof sealant, 3/8" plywood interior walls, ABS molded license plate holder w/built in lights, SX convenience package includes 36in LX side door, roof vent,12v dome light w/wall switch, stainless steel center caps, 24in ATP stone guard, 6in extra height, (4) sand foot on a jack, (4) corner post drop down jacks, (3) 12v standard dome lights, barlock for LX side door, spare tire ST205 75R 15 LRC w/inside mount. Delivery schedule 30 days ADC, anticipated award date is 7 NOV 08. Expected delivery date is 7 DEC 08. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-09-T-0017 is issued as a Request for Proposal.
