Hello Cyndi~

I suggest taking a look at Get Ready to Read! Screening Tool that measures linguistic awareness and print concepts. You might begin by checkin out NCLD's web page www.grtr.org to get a glimpse of the tool, resouces for parents and educators.

The tool recently went through a process to standardize it on a nationally, representative sample of children. If you have additional questions feel free to be in touch.
