Under the authority of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) 6.302-1- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army-Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis with Crye Precision, 63 Flushing Ave Unit 252, Brooklyn, NY 11205-1005 for Future Force Warrior (FFW) Combat Pants. Crye Precision is the only one manufacturing the FFW-variant combat clothing. In effect, they are the only ones with the FFW patterns to make the combat pants with integrated joint protection. Nothing herein should be misconstrued as a request for proposal. No solicitation document is available.
