More Info
- 12 January 2004 - Please read the January 2004 AERONET quarterly report for an update on the upcoming project workshop, activities, and new products.
- 29 December 2003 - The AERONET and PHOTON projects
will sponsor a workshop in southern Spain from May 10-14,
2004. Please review the AERONET/PHOTON Spain workshop
information.
- 30 October 2003 - View AERONET data from the
southern California (USA) fires:
- 22 September 2003 - In an effort to protect hardware
and data from the adverse effects of Hurricane Isabel,
the data server was powered off from 18 September to 22
September, 2003. Data from this period will be processed
as soon as possible. We regret any inconvenience.
- 18 September 2003 (11 AM EDT/1500 GMT) - In an
effort to protect hardware and data from the adverse effects
of Hurricane Isabel, some or all of the data products
may become unavailable later today. This outage may last
through Monday, 22 September.
- 3 September 2003 - The
AERONET Data Display and AERONET
Download Tool databases have been modified to
provide Level 2.0 almucantar retrievals with relaxed tails
criteria.
- 15 July 2003 - The AERONET Download Tool now
provides monthly average data for Levels 1.0, 1.5 and
2.0 Aerosol Optical Thickness (AOT) data.
- 25 June 2003 - Please read the AERONET
quarterly for an update on the project activities
and new products.
- 23 June 2003 - The
AERONET Data Display and AERONET
Download Tool have been modified to provide the
new spheroid model almucantar retrievals (Level 1.5 and
Level 2.0). In addition, AOT for the 1640nm channel is
available from some AERONET sites.
- 23 June 2003 - The AERONET system resources were
upgraded between 2PM and 2:45PM EDT.
- 9 June 2003 - The almucantar retrieval data are
being updated from 1993 to present. These retrievals should
be available and ready for download by 11 June 2003. Other
data products (e.g., AOT) are still available through
the data display and download tool.
- 21 May 2003 - The AERONET web database is available
through 20 May 2003. The database will be updated to near
real-time by 22 May 2003. Slow web server response can
be expected as databases are transferred and updated.
