Fukuoka - The Fukuoka Consulate held an alumni gathering for twenty Fulbright and International Visitor Program Alumni. Consulate Principal Officer Joyce Wong welcomed the group and encouraged them to continue the work that they started during their programs in America and reiterated to them how meaningful their experiences are when they share them with the rising generation of Japanese leaders. Consulate economic and public affairs officers and staff used the event as a chance to touch base with their contacts, and the alumni used the event to get to know the new consular officers and network with each other.
