  • In 2006, juveniles (individuals under age 18) accounted for 18.9 percent of the females arrested.
  • Among the females arrested in 2006, 17.0 percent were between the ages of 18 and 21.
  • Juveniles accounted for 16.2 percent of the females arrested for violent crimes.
  • Of the females arrested for property crimes, 27.1 percent of arrestees were juveniles.
  • More females (12.2 percent) were arrested for larceny-theft than for any other offense.
  • Of the females arrested for arson offenses, 40.1 percent were juveniles.
