Are you using floating or node-locked for your license server?

I thought your LM_LICENSE_FILE (sp?) is used to identify your
license server for the target server and other licensed managed tools.
The FlexLM tools have a way to validate your license files and show
whether you have a valid license for each and every tool you are using. If
you are using Node-locked and it was tied to your NIC, once you change
this, you have to have a new license file generated. If your path is setup
in Dos correctly (or Unix) you can use the "lmutils" tool to gain access to
the FlexLM querying tools. As you probably know, with the installation
of Tornado 2.2, you are now being licensed managed to run the Tornado
IDE target server, Diab (if you have it installed) etc... Try contacting
Wind River support who can help you isolate the problem if the
above is not the case. As far as explicitly setting your Tornado IDE
to use a particular Tornado Registry, the Tools->options->Tornado
tab in the IDE allows you to set an explicit IP address. But your problem
may be related to the FlexLM license manager status. HTH...
