It is incredibly depressing, frustrating, and enraging to live in the greatest country in the world 
and see that every day our government is allowing a third-world, corrupt country to poison and 
maim Americans!  The law requires Country of Origin labeling for shoes, but nothing tells us 
where our food and medicine comes from!!  That's just crazy!
 
What will it take for U.S. Government officials to stand up, show some integrity and moral 
fortitude, and let American citizens know about dangerous imports from China?  More dead 
American children?  More brain-damaged American youngsters?  More poisoned Americans who 
think their supermarkets are a safe source of our daily bread?  More sick Americans who are 
pumped full of tainted medications and vitamins from China?
 
Are we all expendable in the name of the holy dollar?  
 
Do you U.S. Government officials think you and your loved ones are immune from the dangers 
coming from China?  What do you think when you eat slimy, bacterial-laden food from China at 
your favorite restaurant? What do you think when your children and grandchildren drink 
pesticide-laced apple juice, eat fruit and vegetables fertilized with human waste and 
contaminated by U.S.-banned pesticides and carcinogens used in China?   What do you think 
when you or your loved ones are sick and substandard, tainted medicines from China are flowing 
into your bodies?  
 
Frankly, in light of the overwhelming news about weak-minded politicians, we are afraid that 
politicians don't have the guts to do the right thing.  You certainly have the ability; but do you 
have the courage? Perhaps the money is too good?  American manufacturers see a gold mine in 
China.  What are you doing to stop the inflow of poisonous, adulterated, bacteria-laden food and 
medicine from China?
 
We Americans have a right to know where our food ingredients -- all the ingredients in all our 
food, not just meat and produce -- are coming from so we can decide whether or not we want to 
risk poisoning ourselves and our children with dangerous toxins hidden in processed food.  What 
poisonous ingredient from China is in your grandchild's Oreo cookies?  Why on earth are our 
elected officials not enforcing the law that protects us?
 
You might not be aware of the extreme rage that's building everywhere in our great country 
against the do-nothing attitude of U.S. Government officials who don't lift a finger to protect 
Americans. 
 
What is your moral duty to protect the health and well being Americans?
 
Please, before more Americans -- including someone in your personal circle --  are poisoned by 
adulterated food and medicine from China, we beg you to work to get a strong and detailed 
COOL enforcement passed.  
 
We're watching and waiting to see some shred of concern and real action from you; we 
desperately hope that you care about the safety of the food consumed by your fellow citizens 
and even your own family!
