The International School of Krakow (ISK) held a graduation ceremony for nine seniors on Wednesday June 11. Consul General Anne Hall gave the keynote speech to students, parents and friends as part of the traditional American-style ceremony. The graduating students received diplomas signed by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice. Wednesday’s graduation ceremony was the first at the school’s new location in Lusina. ISK was founded in 1993 as an affiliate of the American School in Warsaw. The school became independent in 1998. ISK operates under the auspices of the Office of Overseas Schools at the U.S. Department of State and is a member of the Central and Eastern School Association (CEESA) and Council of International Schools (CIS).
