For answers to life’s other strange and unusual phenomena, visit Everyday Mysteries. Knowing who invented the TV dinner or the life span of a flea will ensure your popularity at parties.

The Library’s Science, Technology and Business Division highlights this presentation as part of its Web site. There you can view Web casts of visiting science and business experts lecturing on everything from animal emotions to geology to the gamer generation.

Another feature is the Tracer Bullet series, which contains research guides on science and technology subjects, from A to Z, with brief topic introductions, resource lists and strategies for finding more information. Many of the resources listed in these guides can be found in your local library.
