Specifically, the guide describes comprehensive community-based initiatives; available training and technical assistance; opportunities for financial assistance through formula and discretionary grant programs; new programs being implemented under the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994; publications; and criminal and juvenile justice clearinghouses and resource centers. 1 appendix |
