1. A wave converter for exploiting energy from waves in water, said wave converter comprising two or more buoyant elements
to be aligned parallel alongside wave crests in the water, wherein the buoyant elements are connected sequentially via rods
connected to two buoyant elements floating alongside one another in the water, said rods extending perpendicular to the longitudinal
direction of the buoyant elements;
wherein each buoyant element is provided with an energy-producing, multi-axial, pivotable joint to which the rods are attached;
and
wherein two rods, which are connected to two buoyant elements, are interconnected by means of an energy-producing, pivotable
toggle joint.
