Northern Pipefish

Northern Pipefish -straight body and the presence of a caudal fin. Found in eelgrass and seaweeds in bays and estuaries.

 

Goosefish

Goosefish - unusually large head and mouth, large pectoral fins, feathery projections around mouth.

 

Lumpfish  

Lumpfish - stout, bulbous shaped, humped with a ridge of lumps along its back.

 

Atlantic Spiny Lumpsucker  

Atlantic Spiny Lumpsucker - numerous lumps covering body.

   

    Oyster Toadfish - large head, barbells pale bars on tail and pectoral fins.
