Useful
Hint:
When you see links in Sandia Announcements to useful information on the the
www-irn server, you can try to access the information from the SON by
appending the document location to the address of the reverse proxy
server. For example, if the link points to:
http://www-irn.sandia.gov/office2003/UsingNewWebMail.htm,
you can access the document @ https://rproxy.sandia.gov/www-irn/office2003/UsingNewWebMail.htm, (see
also the information below on how to get access to the reverse proxy
server). Essentially, in the hyperlink, you replace "https://www-irn.sandia.gov" with
"https://rproxy.sandia.gov/www-irn". Similarly, for documents on the RAN network,
replace "http://www.ran.sandia.gov/" with "https://rproxy.sandia.gov/ran/".
This obviously does not work for all documents on the RAN and IRN, but it does
for many documents that we should have access to. |
