Abstract EPICS(Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) is a set of Open Source software tools, libraries and applications developed collaboratively and used worldwide to create distributed soft real-time control systems for scientific instruments such as a particle accelerators, telescopes and other large scientific experiments. APS/ANL is evaluating EPICS's running on ATCA hardware platform and it's high availability issue for prototyping ILC control system. This presentation will report our experiences of EPICS live migration on virtual machine based on Xen technology and EPICS high availability based on linux-ha.org.
