Tucson, AZ - This Morning, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Border Patrol agents assigned to the Nogales Station stopped two U-Haul trucks containing 105 undocumented aliens.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., Border Patrol agents of the Nogales Station observed two suspicious U-Haul trucks leaving a local hotel in Tubac, Arizona. Agents followed one of the vehicles northbound into a rest area near kilometer 48 on Interstate 19. Border Patrol agents located and arrested 46 undocumented aliens concealed in the cargo compartment of the truck. Additional agents followed the other vehicle to exit kilometer 56, and found an additional 59 undocumented aliens concealed in the second truck. The drivers of both vehicles absconded into the desert.

All 105 undocumented aliens arrested are being processed at the Nogales Border Patrol Station using the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS). The system is designed to provide rapid identification of individuals by electronically comparing a live-scanned fingerprint against a database of previously captured fingerprints.

The Border Patrol has established a 24-hour toll free telephone number (1 800-537-0442) for the community to report suspicious activity.

The Border Patrol is a division of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security, responsible for managing and securing our nation's borders.
