Musée d’Orsay Exhibition of Disney Animation Art and its European Roots Opens in Helsinki
Chargé d’Affaires Michael Butler brought the U.S. Embassy greetings to the opening of the Disney and European Art exhibition at the Helsinki City Art Museum. The exhibition, originally curated at Paris’s Musée d’Orsay, focuses on how heavily Disney’s art and characters were influenced by European art and artists. The U.S. Embassy Helsinki sponsored an educational booklet on the exhibition to be handed out to visiting school groups free of charge. The exhibition will run from February 25 to May 31.
