Descriptive history:
The 123 file type contains data from the tolbutamide response test (TRT). A 5 per cent solution
of sodium
tolbutamide in distilled water in a dose of one gram per 70 kg. body weight was administered
intravenously in
exactly two minutes. The tests were performed between January 1965 and June 1977 in BLSA
men.
