Detroit, MI. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol agents from the Detroit station were called to a traffic stop by the Detroit Police department Saturday. At the stop, CBP Border Patrol agents discovered eight illegal aliens from Mexico in a mini van. Upon questioning, the aliens admitted to being members of the “Surenos 13” gang.

The Detroit police also recovered a loaded, black pistol grip, 12-gauge shotgun and an additional six rounds of ammunition in the mini van.

All eight undocumented illegal aliens were released by the Detroit Police department and turned over to the Detroit Border Patrol. All eight individuals were processed for removal back to Mexico.
