The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Logistics Office intends to award a sole source procurement in accordance with the FAR Part 13 to NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The procurement is to obtain direct engineering and technical support service for the NEC 2400, IPX telephone system at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. Contractor shall be required to provide following services: direct telephone engineering assistance, on site field service engineer, remote engineering support, preventive maintenance system audit, documentation, NTAC online access. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The Government will consider all interested inquires from vendors received by May 30, 2008, 4:00 PM Standard Pacific Time.
