U.S. District Court Issues Order Requiring Compliance in SEC Subpoena Enforcement Action

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced that the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Southern Division, granted its application for enforcement of its investigative subpoena against Steven V. Cotton, the former Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Irvine, California-based Lantronix, Inc. The Court ordered Cotton to produce documents on or before November 15, 2002.

The Commission filed its application for enforcement of its subpoena on October 22, 2002. The investigative subpoena sought documents regarding, among other things, Cotton's bank and brokerage account information.
