This is a notice of intent of the Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC); Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5068 to award a contract for High Definition Video Upgrade for Endoscopes. This is a sole source procurement. CHCC intends to award to the Karl Storz Endoscopy - America, Inc., under authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). Karl Storz Endoscopy - America, Inc. is the only source that can provide the required upgrade equipment compatible with endoscopic equipment already on hand in requesting hospitals. Award will be made on or about 15 Sep 08. The delivery schedule will be 30 September 2008.
