1. A method of recoiling outrigger lines which are attached to a telescoping outrigger, including the steps of:
automatically applying counter balanced tension to each end of an outrigger line such that the outrigger line remains taught
when the outrigger is telescoped between the extended and the retracted positions; and
spooling excess length of outrigger line such that when the telescoping outrigger is moved from an extended to a retracted
position, the outrigger line is automatically recoiled;
whereby the counter balanced tension automatically keeps the outrigger line taught as the telescoping outrigger is moved from
extended to retracted positions.
