Below is the table of queues relevant to the user. In general the longer the time limit on the queue the lower is the priority so that short jobs have the chance to run. The BENCHMARK queue is "not" accessible for the general users.Name | |

This is the queue to be used to
run jobs on the IO node (bigmac) e.g. to stage in files from mass
storage. |
interactive |
This is the queue in which the
interactive job runs. There is a time limit of 24h after which an
interactive job will be terminated. |
long |
This is the queue for e.g. long
montecarlo productions. There is no time limit on this queue. |
medium |
This is the queue for jobs with
a duration of up to 8 hours. |
short |
This queue should be used for short jobs which last up to an hour. |
