| 1. An IOL injector device comprising:
a) an injector body having a lumen with a longitudinal axis;
b) a retainer releasably supporting an IOL, said retainer removably connected to said injector body;
c) a compressor coupled to and moveable relative to the injector body in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis,
the compressor adapted to compress the IOL;
d) a stripper finger fixedly coupled to the injector body and extending between the retainer and the IOL, the compressor moveable
independent of the stripper finger,
the injector body, stripper finger and the retainer configured such that, upon removal of said retainer from said injector
body, the stripper finger causes the retainer to release said IOL such that said IOL is disposed on said injector body.
