 No Fear Act Overview
Welcome to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reporting page for the Notification and Federal Employee Anti-Discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002, commonly called "No Fear Act." On May 15, 2002, President George W. Bush signed the Notification and Federal Employee Anti-Discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002 into law. This Act, which became effective on October 1, 2003, mandates that Federal Agencies be more accountable for violations of anti-discrimination and whistleblower protection laws. The No Fear Act requires that federal agencies post quarterly on their public Web site certain summary statistical data relating to equal employment complaints filed against them under 29 C.F.R. Part 1614.Pursuant to this obligation, CBP publishes statistical information on equal employment opportunity complaints filed against it during fiscal year 2004 when all employees in the Department of Homeland Security were officially realigned to their respective organizational components.The data presented below is the best available as of this posting.
