Endangered Species Program
Species in the Spotlight and Creature Features

While it is important to save all threatened and endangered species, the following species generate many requests for more information. We created this page for quick access to our "learn more" pages that offer links to the most recent fact sheets, life history, and regulatory information for these species.

If you don't see the species you are looking for below, use our species search tool to find information on the species you are curious about.

We also periodically produce creature features to highlight species and our field activities. These features describe some of the lesser known species that are listed as threatened or endangered, and what is being done to help them on the road to recovery.
