Why is Uranus Tipped on its Side?
Question: What are the hypothesis as to why Uranus is tipped on its
side?
Thank you.
phoebe v deeter
Answer: The only hypothesis I'm aware of is the idea that some large
asteroid or comet collided or almost collided with Uranus
early in its history, altering the orientation of its axis.
