While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. The Government will procure 200 Falcon III Radio Assemblies and 200 Dismount Kit Whip Antenna in support of the U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Parties (TACP). This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Shipment shall be FOB destination NSWC, Crane Division, Sheila Hillenburg , Code JSX, Bldg 300, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47562. Inspection/acceptance shall be at origin. This procurement is not for a commercial item and FAR Part 12 procedures will be used. The applicable NAICS Classification is 334220 and the size standard is 750. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 12/20/07 and expected to close on or about 01/14/08. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a sole-source basis with Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14610, based on FAR 6.302-1, only one source capable of meeting the Government?s requirements.
