Washington, DC  -  Congressman Mike Rogers will host his first post-Iraq Town Hall Meeting on the campus of Jacksonville State University, Monday, November 10, 2003, from 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in Stephenson Hall in the Gamecock Room and all area residents are invited to attend.

Rogers will discuss his recent trip to the Middle East and narrate a video presentation he made while visiting the country. The Saks lawmaker will also premier several “video greetings” from soldiers in Iraq that were sent to loved ones back home.

“One of my primary goals for this visit was to see the situation for myself and report back to Third District constituents my findings,” Rogers said. “Hopefully these town hall meetings will help answer any questions people may have and help explain that although Iraq is still a very dangerous place, in many areas we are making very real progress.”
