Demonstrated book repair techniques and procedures. Assisted students with class assignments and projects. Nominated for a 2007 Texas-Exes Teaching Award (TETA).

Student Conservation Technician, Preservation Department, University of Texas Libraries: Performed repairs on circulating collection of the University of Texas Libraries including rebacks, recases and paper mends. Created archival quality custom enclosures of fragile books.

Conservation Volunteer, Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, The University of Texas at Austin: Surveyed and performed treatments on 19th century photographic albums. Created archival quality housing for books and albums.

Scientific research on removal of mold from cellulose acetate audiotape in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Texas at Austin

LC Projects:

Conservation of books from the Rare Books, Law, African and Middle Eastern, Geography and Maps, Asian, and Music Divisions. Treatments consisted of: board reattachments, re-backs, surface cleaning and washing, re-sizing, re-sewing, protective housings.

Paper conservation of manuscripts, political cartoon, and architectural drawings from the Manuscripts, Prints and Photographs, and Architecture Divisions. Treatments consisted of: surface cleaning and washing, humidification, flattening, mending and filling of losses.

Completed work on research begun at the University of Texas at Austin on the removal of mold from cellulose acetate audiotape.
