Wealth of health information on HRM's new Web page

If you've been looking for a way to quickly get information on health and wellness topics, take a look at HRM's new Web page on the Customs Intranet site.

The site includes a cornucopia of health and wellness information.

Just click on "Human Resources," scroll to "Safety and Assistance for Employees (SAFE)," and choose "Health and Wellness."

At your fingertips you'll find:

  • Links to 66 health and wellness Web sites ranging from the Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society, to the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.
  • U.S. Customs Today Wellness Corner articles covering a multitude of topics such as the sandwich generation, suicide awareness, breast and prostate cancer, and food and drug interactions.
  • Health/wellness articles/guides addressing topics such as a skin cancer, allergens, nutrition, and memory and aging.

On the new Web page, other essential information is grouped under these key topics: careers; benefits, pay, and leave; position descriptions; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); Labor and Employee Relations; and Senior Executive Service
