The purpose of this Request For Information is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, industry recommendations to this requirement, industry pricing, delivery, and other market conditions. USPACOM is researching the possibility of procuring commercial services for Joint Shipment Manager to provide a single Point of Contact for ground movement coordination and execution on the Island of Oahu. Objectives are to improve customer service, gain efficiencies, and enhance business practices through joint management. Potential set-asides will be determined after responses to this notice are received. This notice is for market research only. USTRANSCOM is issuing this Request For Information on behalf of USPACOM. All interested offerors should submit information to the USTRANSCOM Contracting Officer, Mr. Belfield C. Collymore, 618-256-6626, belfield.collymore@ustranscom.mil by 18 August 2008, 4:00 pm CST. USPACOM has not made a final commitment to procure the stated requirement and this notice should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. This agency is interested in obtaining responses to this notice from prospective contractors, but no contractor shall be reimbursed for providing this information. All information provided by the contractor will become the property of the Government and will not be returned.
