There are no currently open positions
for locally employed staff.
Direct-Hire
U. S. federal agencies represented at the Embassy Belgrade fill these positions
in the United States. Normally, American citizen employees of these agencies
fill direct-hire positions. The federal agencies currently represented at
the Embassy Belgrade are the U.S. Department of State (DOS), the U.S. Agency
for International Development (USAID), the U. S. Department of Commerce (DOC),
the Belgrade U.S. Department of Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS) and the
U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). Information concerning careers and internships
with the Department of State is available at: www.state.gov/www/careers/index.html.
Similarly, information about employment with USAID is available at:www.usaid.gov/about/employment/,
with DOC at: www.doc.gov, and with FAS at: www.fas.usda.gov. Typically, career
members of the U.S. military fill DOD direct-hire positions.
Locally-Employed Staff
These positions are all hired in Serbia though the Human
Resources Office. The Embassy's policy is to post all such vacancies on the
Embassy website to ensure the widest distribution possible. Each announcement
provides a description of the position, the required qualifications, the
closing date for applications and all application procedures. All locally
hired positions require that the applicant already be a permanent resident
of Serbia who is legally entitled to work.
Once all applications are received, they are rank-ordered according to the
applicant's qualifications. The employing office then conducts interviews
of the most qualified applicants in conjunction with the Human Resources
Office, and selects a candidate for the position. All applicants are notified
in writing as to the final status of their application.
The Embassy encourages equal opportunity and fair and equitable treatment
for all without regard to political affiliation, race, color, religion, national
origin, sex marital status, age or handicapping condition.
Any questions regarding vacancies should be addressed to the Embassy's Human
Resources Office either through the switchboard (+381) (11) 361-9344 on extensions
4640, 4614, 4638 or 4601, or directly on (+381) (11) 306-4640, 306-4614,
306-4638 or 306-4601, or fax (+381) (11) 361-5489.

Federalne agencije trenutno
zastupljene u Ambasadi su: Ministarstvo inostranih poslova SAD (U.S. Department
of State (DOS)), Agencija SAD za međunarodni razvoj (U.S. Agency for International
Development (USAID)), Ministarstvo trgovine SAD (U.S. Department of Commerce
(DOC)), Beogradska kancelarija Ministarstva SAD za poljoprivrednu saradnju
(U.S. Department of Foreign Agriculture Service) i Ministarstvo odbrane SAD
(U.S. Department of Defence (DOD)).
www.info.usaid.gov/about/empolyment, dok DOC i FAS imaju svoje veb sajtove.
Odeljenje,
kojem treba službenik određenog profila, u saradnji sa Personalnom službom,
obavlja razgovore sa najkvalifikovanijim kandidatima i bira najboljeg kandidata
za oglašeno slobodno radno mesto. Svi učesnici na konkursu se pisanim putem
obaveštavaju o konačnom ishodu i rezultatima konkursa.
Ambasada zastupa stav o jednakim, ravnopravnim i fer uslovima za sve učesnike
konkursa bez obzira na politička opredeljenja, rasu, boju kože, veru, nacionalno
poreklo, pol, bračno stanje, godište ili hendikep.
Sva pitanja u vezi slobodnih radnih mesta mogu se uputiti Personalnoj službi
Ambasade preko centrale: (+381) (11) 361-9344 na lokale 4640, 4614, 4638
ili 4601, ili direktno na telefone (+381) (11) 306-4640, 306-4614, 306-4638
ili 306-4601, ili faks (+381) (11) 361-5489.
