Specific tasks would include: strategic planning, organization and coordination of responses for project solicitation and monitoring; management of R&D activities to assure quality output on time and on budget; serving as liaison to external agencies, funding agencies, and project committees. Non-traditional work hours and travel required. Qualifications: Doctoral degree (preferred) in education, social sciences or technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to seven years R&D management experience, preferably in academic or non-profit environment. Demonstrable communication, writing skills, research/organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment required. Strong background in educational technology would be helpful, as would international work experience. Demonstrated individual initiative, as well as achievement in contract negotiation, proposal and grant writing are important.
