CBP South Florida Ports of Entry Update

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations, Miami Field Office is updating the trade community and traveling public on the status of the ports of entry in South Florida, effective Friday, October 28, 2005.

Trade

CBP’s Miami Cargo Clearance Center (CCC) located at 6601 NW 25th Street, Miami FL 33122 is 100% operational.

Power has been restored and business is being conducted as usual at the Miami Free Trade Zone, located at 2305 NW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL 33172.

At this time, the Port Everglades Port Director’s office is without power and will remain closed until further notice. Members of the trade community and the general public can receive trade related services at the Miami Free Trade Zone.

Port of Miami (Seaport)

CBP at the Port of Miami is open for business, processing cruise ship passengers, crew and cargo arriving from foreign ports. At this time, the port is operating during daylight hours only.

Miami International Airport

CBP at Miami International Airport (MIA) is 100% operational.

Port Everglades (Seaport)

Port Everglades is open for vessel traffic. For CBP information, contact 954-356-7431.

Until further notice, entry processing will be performed at the Miami Free Trade Zone, located at 2305 NW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL 33172. The telephone number is 305-597-4645.

Vessel Entry and Clearance (VECS) will be done at the CBP facility located at Terminal 4, Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). For information call 954-356-7431 or –7433.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

CBP at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is 100% operational.

The FLL General Aviation Facility (GAF) is not operational at this time.

Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is 100% operational.

Port of Palm Beach (Seaport)

The Port of Palm Beach is 100% operational.

Palm Beach International Airport

Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is 100% operational.

The PBI General Aviation Facility (GAF) is operational.

Port of Fort Pierce (Seaport)

The Port of Fort Pierce is 100% operational.

Fort Pierce Airport

Fort Pierce Airport is 100% operational.

Port of Key West (Seaport)

The port of Key West is scheduled to resume operations no sooner than Saturday, October 29, 2005.

Key West Airport

CBP at Key West Airport is operational. Telephone service has not yet been restored.
