This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services, non-personal prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote #F4D0A18207A001. Submit written offers - quote template provided upon request. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.bpn.gov). This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080812. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 443112 and Size Standard $9.0 million apply to this procurement. Award is subject to availability of funds.


STATEMENT OF WORK:
Project Number: F4D0A18207A001
Project Title: Chapel I Multimedia Upgrade, Vandenberg AFB, CA


1. The scope of work for this project includes installation and purchase of equipment for the upgrade the current audio mixer, processors, amplifiers and projector. The current playback sources and computer will be the only remaining equipment.
2. Contractor shall ensure system shall be setup in a manner that allows chapel staff to perform all functions including computer, projector, screen, sound board etc. via the balcony of the sanctuary.
3. Contractor shall use the pre existing speaker locations and replace the current models.
4. Contractor shall install new wiring.
5. Contractor is prohibited from using the center Bose speakers and existing Bose subwoofer but instead shall add subwoofers in the organ speaker locations for maximum effect.
6. Contractor shall conduct training of system with end users.
7. System shall function with presets determined by customer.
8. Documentation shall be provided that shall include manuals, warranties, and operating instructions.
9. Installation shall be conducted within one work week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 0730 and 1630.
10. A pre-bid, onsite meeting is scheduled on 5 SEP 08 at 3:00 pm PST. Contractors are encouraged to attend. Please contact Terri Waywell via email for additional information.
11. Quote shall conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation. The contractor shall add subclins as appropriate.
12. A quote template is available upon request.
13. Quotes shall be valid for 30 days after close of solicitation.
14. All questions or comments must be provided to the Contract Specialist in writing; telephone and other means of oral communication shall not be permitted. The Contract Specialist is Terri Waywell, terri.waywell@vandenberg.af.mil.

• Compact 2-Way Line Loudspeaker (Min. Qty: 4) with 1 x 12" LF 4 AL Low Frequency 15" Subwoofer Speaker (Min. Qty 1)
• 600 watt 2 JRX 12" Floor Monitor 250W (Min. Qty: 4) Optional U-Bracket Model 4


Amps
• Proposed amps shall be capable of carrying proper wattage to the complete system
• 2-Channel Amplifier Furman PS8 sequential power conditioner
• 2 QUIET FAN PANEL ASSEMBLY - TWO FANS, 3 SPACE TEXTURED FINISH


Projector
• Install/Tabletop Projector, 6000 Lumens - Without Lens
• Long Throw Lens for projector. 5.7 - 8.0:1
• Powered Zoom


Screen
• Electric Screen, with low voltage interface to be located in the Chapel. The end-user shall be able to raise/lower screen from balcony.
• Mounting bracket for screen Wireless System


Wireless System
• Wireless lavalier system with minimum two wireless lavalier mics and rack mount kit
• Wireless handheld microphone system with minimum two wireless handheld mics and rack mount kit
• UHF antenna distribution system - Can support up to four wireless microphones at the same time.


Cables
• Speaker Cable, 16 gauge, 2 conductors, by the foot
• VGA Coax HD 15 Male to Female, 25ft. Cable Component Video Cable, 12ft

Installation
• Installation - to include disposal of packaging materials and debris incidental to installation
• Control System Programming
• Onsite system setup for first Sunday following completion of installation, minimum of 4 hours. Set-up shall include programming/labeling pre-sets for each service for the mixer and on-site training for personnel present.
• Installation for screen
• Provide adequate power to all needed locations, i.e. Screen, Rack, and Projector
• Conduit Installation as needed
• Minor repairs to walls and ceilings incidental to the installation shall be the contractor's responsibility.
• One, 4 hour training session shall be included and conducted with Chapel Staff during normal work hours (0730-1630), normal work days (M-F).
The contract shall be Firm Fixed Price with the following structure:
