Purpose: Present current thinking and encourage discussion on development and usage of computer models in the hydrologic engineering profession. Emphasis will be placed on technology transfer and maintenance.

Background: Numerical models of hydrologic processes are being developed throughout the profession by government agencies, universities, and private industry. Developers need to be aware of user needs and the resources required to provide effective technology transfer and maintenance of the software. Users need to be aware of the models' capabilities and limitations as well as the resources required for proper application.

Format: Panelists will each give a brief introductory statement and a question and answer period will follow. All conference attendees are invited to ask the panelists questions.
