Administrative Record Index

To request copies of administrative record documents, an electronic order form is available.

This administrative record contains the documents that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has considered or has relied on to select remedial actions for the Iron Mountain Mine Superfund Site, Sediment Studies Operable Unit in Shasta County, California. It is presented in two media: the Compact Disk (CD) and a companion binder of large format documents. The administrative record includes the administrative record file for the Sediment Operable Unit that was released for public review and comment in August 2004 and supplement #1 compiled by EPA and issued in November 2004.

This administrative record file also includes by reference the documents in the October 1986 Record of Decision AR, the 1988 Removal AR, the Administrative Order 89-18 AR, the Administrative Order 91-07 AR, the Boulder Creek Operable Unit, September 1992 Record of Decision AR, the Unilateral Administrative Order 92-96 AR, the Old/#8 Mine Seep OU AR, the Flat Creek Bridge Removal Action AR, and the September 1997 (formerly Spring Creek Debris Dam Operable Unit) Record of Decision AR.

EPA welcomes questions and comments on documents contained in the administrative record file. Please contact:
