Repeal of 19 USC 1441(6) Concerning Tugs with Great Lakes Endorsement August 15, 2001FO:TP:CP:MC JHTO : | See Distribution | FROM : | Executive Director Trade Programs Office of Field Operations | SUBJECT: | Repeal of 19 USC 1441(6) Concerning Tugs With Great Lakes Endorsement (TC# TP 01-1524) | Public Law 106-36 dated June 25, 1999 repealed 19 USC 1441 (6) which provided an exception to vessel entry and clearance requirements for tugs documented under Chapter 121 of title 46, United States Code, with a Great Lakes endorsement when towing vessels which were required by law to enter and clear.
