friendly page] Three-Time Convicted Drug Felon Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Distribution SEP 2 -- LOUISVILLE, KY - Christopher Howard Tucker, age 35, of 53 McMahon Road, Campbellsville, Kentucky, pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky announced today. Tucker admitted that on August 15, 2007, he intentionally possessed 3.5 grams of cocaine, with a street value of $350, with the intent to distribute. The maximum potential penalties are 30 years imprisonment, a $2,000,000 fine, and supervised release for a period of not less than four years. There is no mandatory minimum penalty. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Larry Fentress, and it was investigated by the Shively Police Department and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Because of his prior arrests, US Attorney Huber praised the work of the Shively Police Department and also for working with DEA. He noted that “there is no parole in the federal system.” Tucker has three previous drug convictions. The plea was entered before Charles R. Simpson III, Judge, United States District Court, Louisville, Kentucky. Judge Simpson has ordered a presentence investigation. Sentencing is expected in approximately eight to ten weeks. ###
