U.S. Armed Forces Participates in 2008 CISM World Military Marathon Championship  
The 41st Military World Marathon Championship consisted of a lot of enthusiasm, thousands of spectators, an extraordinary atmosphere and a lot of passion. The competition took place inside the “Maratona d’Italia”.   Runners from 25 CISM nations (81 men and 15 women) were among the more than 8000 marathon competitors.  Poland’s Adam Draczynski and Italy’s Rosalba Console respectively won the men’s and women’s individual competition. Poland also took first place in the men’s team competition and was followed by Italy and Qatar. This was an extraordinary day of sport and friendship!
