- 304,000 incoming privately owned vehicles
- 82,800 shipments of goods approved for entry
- $88.3 million in fees, duties and tariffs
Executed- 70 arrests of criminals at ports of entry
- 2,402 apprehensions between ports for illegal entry
Seized- 2,250 pounds of narcotics in 69 seizures at ports of entry
- 5,138 pounds of narcotics in 29 seizures between ports of entry
- 187,176 in undeclared or illicit currency and $652,603 worth of fraudulent commercial merchandise at ports of entry
- 41 vehicles between ports of entry
- 4,296 prohibited meat or plant materials, including 164 agricultural pests at ports of entry
Refused Entry of- 844 aliens (found inadmissible or withdrew application to enter) at our ports of entry
- 395 criminal aliens attempting to enter the United States between the ports of entry (estimated)
Intercepted- 84 fraudulent documents
- 9 smuggled aliens at the ports of entry
- 1 traveler for terrorism/national security concerns
Rescued- 5 illegal crossers in distress or dangerous conditions between ports of entry
Deployed- 1,173 canine enforcement teams
- 10,029 vehicles, 267 aircraft, 175 watercraft, and 188 equestrian patrols

- 1,900 miles of border with Mexico

Managed- 326 ports of entry
- 144 Border Patrol stations within 20 sectors, with 34 permanent checkpoints
Used Technology- Non-intrusive inspection equipment that allows rapid screening of incoming vehicles and vessels, including radiation portal monitors that screen for terrorist weapons
- Integrated automated fingerprint
- identification system that allows CBP officers to quickly check national fingerprint databases to identify wanted criminals
- Unmanned aerial systems that allow for efficient monitoring of desolate areas and quick resolution of alarms on the border
