Plants and Animals at Yucca Mountain

Wild Burros
Scientists with the Yucca Mountain Project have performed detailed studies of the area’s plants and animals.

The purpose of these studies is to protect habitats and prevent any adverse impacts on populations by Project activities. In the course of these studies, biologists have catalogued all of the area’s primary plant and animal species.
